The arrogance with which Newt Gingrich attacked CNN's Jon King last night was absolutely hostile and mendacious. It was character unbecoming of a human being. Out of step, mean-spirited and absolutely hypocritical. The indictment Newt brought against the Media was silly season on steroids. Only one Corporate Media Titan deserved such a snide critique. Newt is a former employee for that outlet and I'm pretty sure he still consults for them under the radar. FOX News, FOX News with Newt Gingrich as a pundit, constantly used LIES, attack lines, vehement accusations, and fueled viral hate as a Network. Newt's accusation fits perfectly into the character of the old saying,

It's the kind of reaction you get when you call a LIAR to the carpet. An angry LIAR. If Newt's ex-wife's charge against him wasn't true, my favorite saying is this,

FACT CHECK FRIDAY...
John Boehner on Keystone XL jobs. Inflated 100,000 jobs numbers
ABC news"...House Speaker John Boehner this morning pressed President Obama to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline, as the president is expected to block a permit to proceed on the pipeline — possibly as soon as this afternoon. The speaker said the project would “create 100,000 new jobs,” and he warned that further delay on a decision about whether to go forward on the project could result in losing out to China..."

THE FACTS
"... Independent Assessment Found That KXL Jobs Would Create As Few As 50 Permanent Jobs Cornell University Global Labor Institute: Based On TransCanada's Numbers, "The Project Will Create No More Than 2,500-4,600 Temporary Direct Construction Jobs." From Cornell University Global Labor Institute's report: "A calculation of the direct jobs that might be created by KXL can begin with an examination of the jobs on-site to build and inspect the pipeline. The project will create no more than 2,500-4,650 temporary direct construction jobs for two years, according to TransCanada's own data supplied to the State Department." [Cornell University Global Labor Institute, September 2011] Cornell: "Almost All" KXL Jobs Will Be Temporary - Permanent U.S. Jobs Could Be "As Few As 50."From Cornell University Global Labor Institute's report: "[I]t is also important to consider that almost all of the jobs (direct, indirect and induced) associated with Keystone XL will, of course, also be temporary. The operating costs for KXL are very minimal, and based on the figures provided by TransCanada for the Canadian section of the pipeline, the new permanent US pipeline jobs in the US number as few as 50. The other operating expenditures (for materials, supplies, services, electric power, property taxes, etc.) would comprise the bulk of operating expenses and would also have some job impacts. So considering a broad range of spin-offs, operating expenditures would have job impacts in the order of around 1,000 per year." Rick Santorum
Our ruling Santorum said the Obama administration is not allowing people who work with at-risk adolescents to promote the benefits of marriage. Santorum said he had heard this from Elayne Bennett of the Best Friends Foundation, but she told us he misspoke. The change under Obama, according to Bennett, was about what could be taught regarding abstinence -- not marriage. The Department of Health and Human Services said there was confusion in this area, so it clarified the policy, which does allow discussion of abstinence in other contexts but not as a stand-alone education program. Santorum simply got it wrong. His statement is False..."
"...Newt Gingrich ad says Mitt Romney enacted taxpayer-funded abortions Did Mitt Romney make taxpayer-funded abortion the law of the land in Massachusetts?
politifact
Newt Gingrich "...Our ruling Gingrich’s ad says "Romney signed government-mandated health care with taxpayer-funded abortions." What’s right about that? Romney did sign government-mandated health care, and Massachusetts does provide taxpayer-funded abortions. But the ad inaccurately links the two together. The law Romney signed did not mention abortion coverage. It was included by the state exchange, which created plans that mirror private insurance nationwide. And a court decision two decades earlier mandated that the cost of the abortions be included. You’d never know any of that based on the misleading wording in the ad. We rate it Mostly False..."
